Grab your greens, find some fruit every weekend, just steps from Grand Bend

East elevation of Grand Bend at Green Bay

Last month I asked Grand Bend at Green Bay sales manager Andy Kiener about the kinds of community activities a buyer could find near his Evanston condos. He didn’t even need to stop and think about it.

It’s hard to get much closer to the intersection of University Place and Oak Avenue, site of Evanston’s Farmers’ Market. According to Google Maps, University and Oak is just two-tenths of a mile, or a mere three-minute walk, to the Grand Bend condos. The event, held every Saturday morning from early May to early November, is far and away the highest-rated farmers’ market in the Chicago area, according to Yelp.

Available units at Grand Bend at Green Bay, 1228 Emerson St, include junior one-bedrooms with 830 to 964 square feet, priced from the $180s to $200s; one-bedroom / one-baths with 1,047 square feet, priced in the $220s and $230s; two-bedroom / two-baths with 1,410 to 1,610 square feet, priced in the $290s to $350s; and penthouses with two or three bedrooms, two or 2.5 baths, and 1,792 to 2,055 square feet, priced from the $570s to $630s.
