Hall to developers: Fill the holes in the market

Developers who brave today’s market probably can’t afford to pursue pet projects. If they have any hopes of succeeding, they have to find “the hole…a combination of price point, location, and product — size, bedroom and bath count, or whatever — in which there is less competition or very little competition, but where there is demand,” says David Hall, the head of Coldwell Banker’s Lincoln Park Plaza office.

In this video, Hall talks about the options on the table for would-be builders and builders sitting on unsold inventory. Watch the rest of Hall’s interview with Joe Zekas on the YoChicago YouTube channel.
