The staff at the sales pavilion for The Lofts at Roosevelt Collection was busy today, so I just hung out, shooting the occasional video clip, which you can watch at YouTube.
I was largely neglected during the hour and 15 minutes I was there because the friendly sales staff was doing what it ought to do — make buyers the priority.
The buyers turned out for today’s opening in greater numbers than I would have guessed, given the lousy weather and the fact that the Ohio State / Michigan game was about to start. Most were twenty- and thirty-somethings, and many already lived in the South Loop area. Most appeared to be seriously interested in the project, and some were on the verge of adding to its roster of contracts.
