How to be treated as a comment spammer

The spam filter on our new platform is, it seems, a bit more sensitive than on the previous one.

If you use a phony e-mail address that includes anatomical parts in your name (or a variation on mine), or use YoChicago [s][u][x] as part of your e-mail, your comments are likely to be swept away by the comment spam filter.

I’ve rescued a few that went into a moderation queue. But really, folks, I do have limited patience for people who play this way and, in addition, have nothing to say that isn’t tedious, repetitive and infantile.

We impose almost no limits on what anyone says here, but we’re not about to waste our time rescuing your impoverished gibberish from the consequences of your own adolescent behavior.

You’re free to express yourself – and we’re free to let the spam filter work its way on what you have to say.
