In cloudy market, a few developments stand out

Our recent post about 235 Van Buren, CMK Companies‘ planned Loop high-rise, prompted some speculation about how many units sold before the grand opening Sept 7. One commenter suggested as many as two-thirds of the 714 units were spoken for. Don DeBat, a columnist for New Homes Magazine, reports that more than 370 units sold pre-grand opening, without the benefit of advertising.
