I was at 600 Lake Shore Drive in Chicago yesterday and, since it was a glorious, sunny day I asked developer Buzz Ruttenberg and Chief Engineer Lou Graziano to take me up on the roof.
Lou mentioned that many of the mechanical systems were housed on the roof, so I took the opportunity to have a look at some of the high-tech computer-controlled systems that ensure the residents’ comfort.
