On Friday, I met with developer John Madonis and @properties agent Mike Vesole at 813 W Fulton Market in Fulton Market to check out the five new-construction live / work spaces that Madonis built there. Madonis built the five homes with hopes that buyers would live in the residential space and operate small businesses in the ground-floor commercial space.
In 2007, Madonis told Yo that he was interested in living in one of the homes operating a bar on the ground floor. Today, he confirmed that he still plans to do that, and he says that eventually, he might like to open a restaurant on the corner of Green Street and Fulton Market.
For now, Madonis and Vesole are more concerned with selling the five three-bedroom duplexes, which have about 3,000 square feet of space and are priced at $1.29 million. A few photos of the model, which is located at 813 W Fulton Market, are below, I’ll post a video that I shot with Vesole on Monday.
