While making a pass through Jefferson Park yesterday, I noticed this new six-unit condo development at 5021 W Lawrence Ave, across the street from 5010 West Lawrence (below, at right), another Jefferson Park development that Patrick profiled in January.
The @properties sign says that all six units are 1,800 square-foot three-bedroom / two-baths with two balconies per unit. The sign also details free deeded parking, wood-burning fireplaces, and rooftop elevator access for all units.
I spoke briefly with @properties agent Anthony Rouches this morning, who says that none of the units have been sold, and that the developer is also trying to rent them out, as the “For Lease” sign indicates. The most recent listing I could find lists these units from the $380s to the $390s, which is about what the three-bedroom / two-baths at 5010 West Lawrence are going for (although I’m not sure how big those units are).
A woman working at a nearby mini-mart told me that both developments were built at about the same time last winter, and for what it’s worth, she told me that 5010 West Lawrence is “much nicer.”
