Is Morse Avenue finally changing?

“The perception was always worse than the reality,” said Alan Goldberg about Morse Avenue as we walked the street on a tour of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District in Rogers Park. Change is clearly evident on Morse – a new theater, the rehab of a problem 100-unit building, new construction condos and new restaurants, among other developments.

Goldberg, a commercial real estate broker with Hallmark & Johnson, has known Rogers Park since he first moved there in the late 1960s.
