Joewalking through the Calumet / Giles / Prairie District in Bronzeville

Joe Askins and Mark Boyer tour the Calumet / Giles / Prairie Landmark District, located in Bronzeville’s “Gap.” The district, which runs from the 3100 to 3500 blocks of Calumet, Giles, and Prairie Avenues, is home to many rowhomes built from the 1870s to 1910s, including some designed by architects Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright.
