Library Place in Winnetka to enter the North Shore rental market

Library Place townhomes, Winnetka IL
Just south of the Winnetka Public Library is Library Place seven townhomes built in the 1960s that are being renovated by Chicago home builder and renovator, J. Lawrence Homes, a builder with projects all around the metro area.

The project was formerly known as Library Plaza, but sales had stalled and J. Lawrence saw the opportunity to renovate the properties and offer them for rent in what is currently a tight rental market on the North Shore.

The townhomes, at 460-474 Green Bay Road, have a distinctive architectural presence.  The floor plans, from 1,800 to 2,200 square feet, are all unique. Each has three bedrooms, two baths and new high-end finishes.  All have open floor plans, a family room and den, full-sized laundry, garage space and a private yard.

The location of these townhomes is as good as it gets. The Metra station, shops, dining and local businesses are just a short walk away. Local schools are excellent, including New Trier High School.

Rents for the townhomes will start at $3,500.  Kathryn and Kelly Mangel from @properties are the listing agents.
