Some of us pine for a neighborhood that’s small enough to feel like a neighborhood, where a Cubs fan is something someone’s cousin is rumored to be, and where the night life takes place on your front porch.
The Kennedy Park neighborhood, on Chicago’s southwest side is bounded by 115th St on the south, 111th St on the north, Western Ave on the east, and the city limits on the west. At just over 700 households, it’s not much larger than some high-rise buildings.
