New park opens at Cornelia Court in Avondale

Cornelia Court

If you’re considering a new townhome at Cornelia Court, located at 3001 W Cornelia Ave in Avondale, you can now get a better picture of what the 63-unit development will look like when work wraps up.

A park of 10,650 square feet has been completed, and a new three-story furnished model is open, according to Steven V Frytz, of Anchor General Construction, who is developing Cornelia Court with Dewey Suster through Cornelia Court, LLC. Two additional models are slated to open this fall.

To move the last five townhomes in phase two, the developers are offering an incentive: $10,000 toward an interest rate buy-down on home loans or for upgrades such as crown moldings, Viking appliances, window treatments, mantels and custom paint. These homes can be ready for occupancy within 30 to 60 days.

Construction is underway on a dozen units in the third phase, and 19 units are planned for the fourth phase. Prices at Cornelia Court start at $475,900, according to Gale Goldstick, of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

New Homes Magazine named Cornelia Court the best townhome development of 2007.
