On a sunny Friday afternoon at the end of April YoChicago’s Joe Askins and Joe Zekas headed out for a look at four Near North construction projects: the SoNo II rental tower, Parkside of Old Town apartments, the demolition of the last Cabrini Green high-rise, and 1233 N Wells, our stop in this video.
Demolition is complete and soon caissons will be sunk 90 feet to bedrock. When complete, the site will host 38,000 square feet of retail space at ground level and 250 rental apartments.
