Park View Place tells it like it is

With our recent speculation that the real investment properties are to be had south of the Loop, we couldn’t help but notice the sign at Park View Place, 5924 S King Drive. True to the sign’s claim of being a great investment opportunity, this building has all the North Side amenities (granite kitchen and bathroom, cherry Brazilian hardwood floors, secured parking, in-unit laundry) at a sliver of the price ($239,000 for a three-bedroom three-bathroom unit with balcony). The location may not be a North Sider’s dream (then again, who knows?), but the building does look out onto a spacious park, with tennis courts right across the street. There are only two units left in this seven-unit building.
