Pilsen’s gotten some attention – albeit the bad kind – here on YoChicago lately, but it’s worth noting that developers are still moving forward with high-end deliveries in this neighborhood.
We spotted 1117 W 17th St, a three-unit new construction building in East Pilsen, earlier this month. It’s been on the market since October 2007, but Prudential Preferred took over from the pre-construction brokers after weak sales (read: no sales).
They’ve had the listing for about three months, according to Prudential’s Marcus Cook, and all three units are still available.
The first-floor unit is a three-bed / two-bath duplex with parking included. It’s priced at $429,900, and that represents the most expensive unit in the building.
The other two condos are both two-bed / two-bath affairs, priced at $314,900 and $329,900. All three units have both front and rear balconies – amenities that Cook says will set this project apart from similar deliveries in Pilsen this summer. Deliveries are expected this spring.
