Presidential polling in Rosehill Cemetery

There’s little suspense about how the dead will turn out in the next election, so I decided to poll the living in Rosehill instead.

There was no one there except for a large flock of Canadian geese. Non-citizens, probably, but that’s not a total disqualifier in Chicago.

Barack Obama eked out a win in the first round, but faltered in the second. The name, Barack, may have had the right resonance with this crowd.

Al Gore came in dead last, probably because the geese are enjoying global warming here in Chicago instead of freezing up north.
