December 16 is a milestone in the history of Lincoln Park hospitals in Chicago. It’s the day that the Plan Commission hears a proposal for the former Lincoln Park Hospital site. And it’s also the deadline for submission of bids and preliminary proposals for the redevelopment of the Children’s Memorial Hospital site.
A joint venture which includes the Belgravia Group will be one of the bidders — a group likely to include some of Chicago’s most accomplished developers.
Earlier today I met Jon McCulloch of the Belgravia Group at the original Potbelly’s, just a few steps from Children’s Memorial Hospital, and Jon outlined some of the considerations that should guide any development of the site.
