Double-entendre of the day: The Peshtigo's "stories"

The Peshtigo site

What do you make of this exchange?

You’re going to need a lawyer.

What do you mean?

I’m your lawyer and your spouse.

Not anymore. And I get the condo.

Does it make you want to buy real estate? Related Midwest must hope so: posters advertising The Peshtigo, its tower planned for 515 N Peshtigo Ct in Streeterville, are emblazoned with this and other snippets of soap-worthy dialogue. They’re titled “Story 12” or “Story 23” or something similar. Get it? Each story of the building tells a story. There’s more at the project’s four URLs, which seem inspired by a trip to Blockbuster : www.BuildingDrama.com, www.BuildingComedy.com, www.BuildingAction.com and www.BuildingSuspense.com.

We’d heard The Peshtigo would start marketing in late August, and it appears a sales trailer is set up on the site, which is currently occupied by a parking lot. When we chatted with Sales Manager Mike Kelly several months ago, he told us the Ralph Johnson-designed project would have 59 stories. The posters say it will have 57. Maybe those two stories didn’t have strong enough plotlines…
