Neighborhood Rejuvenation Partners’ all-brick Columbian high-rise at 1160 S Michigan Ave has a been a fixture in the South Loop skyline for more than two years now, but we still consider it a new building because it still hasn’t reached sellout.
Equity Marketing Services has listed 17 condos at the building, ranging in price from the $240s for a 10th-floor one-bedroom with 760 square feet to $2.29 million for a 40th-floor three-bedroom with almost 3,700 square feet. Another 14 one- to three-bedroom homes, presumably resales, are listed from the $280s to $2.19 million.
A handful of condos in The Columbian surface on the MLS as rentals, too, and it’s probable that these are investor-owned units instead of unsold homes. The rentals include:
- One-bedroom / one-baths for $1,650 to $2,200 a month
- Two-bedroom / two-baths for $2,250 a month
- Three-bedroom / three-baths for $3,800 a month
The Columbian’s amenities include a 24-hour door staff, fitness center, sun deck, party room, and dog run.
