Construction at Rainbo Village, 127 new homes in Uptown from Metropolitan Development Enterprise, has been proceeding at a good clip in recent weeks, with crews sometimes blocking a lane of Clark Street just north of Lawrence Avenue.
As of last night, when we snapped these photos, most of the windows had been installed in The Kinetic Lofts South, the building on the southeast corner of the site at 4836 N Clark St. That building is sold out, and its neighbor, The Kinetic Lofts North, is 45 percent sold, according to January Verdich, sales manager for the project. Prices on the remaining units at Kinetic Lofts North range from the $250s to the low $400s. Indoor heated parking is $27,000.
The loft-style condos come with fireplaces, balconies and security systems, among other features. First deliveries are slated within 60 days, Verdich said.
Rainbo Village also includes duplexes, condos and townhomes, recently released for sale, according to Verdich. Pre-construction prices range from the $360s to the $750s.
