Sales update: 15 condos left at SoNo

SoNo, 860 W Blackhawk St, ChicagoSoNo‘s closeout has begun. According to a new press release from @properties, the 15 condos still for sale in the 199-unit building, located at 860 W Blackhawk St, include:

  • One-bedroom / one-baths with 796 square feet, priced from $249,900 to $256,900
  • One-bedroom / one-baths with 905 square feet, priced from $287,900 to $293,900
  • Two-bedroom / two-baths with 1,416 square feet, priced from $399,900 to $421,900
  • A three-bedroom / two-bath with 1,656 square feet, priced at $481,900

SoNo’s condos feature floor-to-ceiling windows; 9-foot ceiling heights; hardwood floors in the living areas; solid-core interior doors; private balconies or terraces; kitchens with granite countertops and KitchenAid stainless steel appliances; and baths with marble floor tile, marble countertops and Grohe fixtures.

Garage parking ranges from $9,000 to $21,000 per space. SoNo has been approved for FHA-backed loans requiring as little as 3.5-percent down.

Not long after I posted my video interview with SoNo owner Kim Hamilton, we met photographer Greg Lindsey, who’s shooting scenes of Chicago for Getty Images.
