Considering that there were just 12 units left in Zen when Joe strolled through the West Loop in February, I was surprised to learn that there’s still any availability in the West Loop mid-rise. According to @properties agent Rich DiVito, there are still seven unsold units in the building – five two-bedrooms and two one-bedrooms.
The five two-bedroom / two-bath condos are corner units that the Zen Web site measures at 1,180 square feet. They have private balconies and upgraded finishes. (A floor plan for a two-bedroom is at right.)
The two one-bedrooms are located on the top floor and are priced from the $270s to the $290s. The two-bedrooms are priced from the $360s to the $390s, depending on the floor.
I asked DiVito if any of the prices on these remaining units had been reduced. He says they haven’t – if anything, they’ve been increased because they had been priced below market values. That’s not something that I’m hearing a lot these days.
