Senco adjusts schedule for EcoLogic Lofts

EcoLogic Lofts, 2359 N Seeley Ave, Chicago

While scrounging around for some information for the October issue of New Homes, I learned that EcoLogic Lofts, Senco Properties‘ green condo project at 2359 N Seeley Ave in Bucktown, is now slated to deliver in July 2010. Senco had hoped to have the building ready for occupancy in the fall of 2009, according to a sponsored article we ran in May.

It’s hard to fault developers for stretching out their time-tables right now. EcoLogic isn’t the first development in town to push its ’09 completion date back into 2010, and it won’t be the last. For what it’s worth, marketing for this 93-unit, FitzGerald Architects Associates-designed mid-rise seems to be full steam ahead, and its price points appear to be right in line with what they were earlier this year: the $230s for a 690 square-foot, one-bedroom condo to the $500s for two-bedroom home with 1,335 square feet.

Mark attended the grand opening of the EcoLogic Lofts sales center back in May and brought back this video of its model, a “green museum” designed by John Robert Wiltgen:
