Nearly 50 percent of the new-construction condos at The Shoreline (2306 E 71st St) are sold, according Coldwell Banker’s Kimberly Chase-Harding, the agent marketing the project. The development is a rare example of new construction in South Shore, a neighborhood that while pretty rough in places has some gorgeous housing stock. The 27-unit project was developed in a partnership between the Los Angeles-based Alliance Property Group and Chicago-based Poter Construction.
The Shoreline has nine two-bedroom two-bath simplexes and 18 two-bedroom two-bath duplexes. Standard finishes include hardwood floors, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and oak or maple cabinets in the kitchens. Marble baths come with a choice of oak or maple cabinets.
Prices start at $224,900 and deliveries are slated for November of this year. Garage parking is included inthe price.
