For all the chatter about “short sales” – properties being offered for less than the mortgage balance – there’s not much evidence of the phenomenon on Craigslist.
When I checked a few minutes ago, there were only 31 results, not all of which are in Chicago, and some of which appear to be just a marketing shtick.
