Six North Michigan sales center to open in August

Six North Michigan

In nearly every picture of Cloud Gate (or “The Bean”) at Millennium Park, you see the reflection of Six North Michigan, a new condo conversion – at least according to Letitia Windham, a sales associate with @properties, which is marketing the project.

Windham says Six North Michigan has 120 rehab units with one to three bedrooms and penthouses. Out of the 120 units, 80 are available and they range from 900 to 4,800 square feet, she says.

The 22-story boutique building first served as Montgomery Ward’s catalogue center.

“It has an historical tax freeze and is a landmark building,” Windham says. “When it was built in 1898, it was the tallest building in Chicago, but that was a lot of years ago.”

Features include lake views from the fifth floor up, a doorman, exercise center, party room, Scavolini cabinets and Sub-Zero appliances, according to Windham. She says two commercials spaces will be rented out on the ground floor.

Prices range from the $330s for one-bedrooms to $4.4 million for the most expensive penthouse, Windham says. Garage parking is available for $50,000 to $60,000.

PNB, LLC is the developer and deliveries are expected in fall 2007, according to Windham. An on-site sales center with models will open in August.
