Lakeshore East‘s Aqua (the newly named home of Chicago’s next CVS) still hasn’t reached its full height, but it’s getting there. Crews just poured the tower’s 71st floor this week, says Leila Zammatta, Magellan Development‘s vice president of sales. Apartments in the 87-story high-rise at 225 N Columbus Dr should be ready for occupancy by April, and condos will begin delivering sometime in the fall, she says.
Only 13 of Aqua’s 267 “choice residences” in six different floor plans are still for sale through the developer. Prices start in the $500s for a 881 square-foot one-bedroom / one-bath with southern views, and reach up past $1.25 million for 1,982 square-foot three-bedroom / three-bath with northern and eastern exposures. All of the available units are on the 57th through 79th floors, and their floor plans are all featured on Aqua’s Web site.
