With all the new condo buildings changing the face of the South Loop, it was refreshing to see this unabashedly eccentric single-family home on the 1200 block of South State St. Judging by the fun house paint job and all the artistic oddities outside, we can only imagine what kind of treasure trove we’d find inside.
The fun even spread to the house next door, where we found these creations. The stream of water coming from the metal dog’s raised leg, which is classy enough on its own, is disturbingly dyed red.
