South Loop office building getting the loft treatment

The condo conversion of the top floors of The Park Monroe may be getting all the attention, but another office building in the Loop (technically, the South Loop) is going under the knife. The entire 11-story concrete office building at 417 S Dearborn St will be converted to Plymouth Lofts. All lofts will have one bedroom and one bathroom, 11-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, hardwood and stone flooring, in-unit laundry and air conditioning. Developers are also adding an exercise room to the building. Units are priced from the $240s, and we’ll let you know more about the development as it becomes available.
