Spend the lunch hour with Frank Lloyd Wright

Chicagoist reminded us that today’s Chicago Architecture Foundation lunchtime lecture will feature the broadcast of Frank Lloyd Wright: The Mike Wallace Interviews. Conducted in 1957, the interviews feature the 90-year-old Wright tossing out lines like “Having had now the experience building (going on) 769 buildings, it’s quite easy for me to shake them out of my sleeve” and “I think Ms. [Marilyn] Monroe as architecture is extremely good architecture.” The event runs from 12:15 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. today at the Santa Fe Building, 224 S Michigan Ave. If you can’t make it, check out some clips online.
