The typical Realtor is a 51-year-old married white female who has attended college, owns her home and has a household income of more than $100,000, according to a recent study by the National Association of Realtors. Only one in 10 Realtors is under the age of 35.
Less than half of all Realtors (48 percent) reported that real estate is their primary source of income.
