We talked recently about all the new condo high-rises planned for Streeterville. Construction is underway on the 27-story Avenue East, 160 E Illinois St, and developer Residential Homes of America secured $69 million in financing from LaSalle Bank this week. Bank of America and National City are also stumping up some money for the project. Avenue East will have 133 condos, priced from the $390s to the $940s, but 80 percent of the units are already sold.
