The neighbors were upset when The Legend Records’ CEO Rudolph Acosta rezoned the corner of Parkview and Lawndale for this castellated manse on the edge of the Kennedy Expressway.
Standing in front of this stone affront to the neighborhood, I was completely puzzled. Why would someone who has the money to build this — someone the neighbors say drives up in a white Bentley — build it here?
