Have you ever noticed that when some people are put in front of a camera they often start spouting an illogical stream of fallacious babble? Well, for me it happens when I’m behind the camera, but it happens nonetheless.
Just to be clear: There are no townhouses at Trio. Instead, there’s a 22-story high-rise that’s accompanied by two low-rise buildings.
In my visit to Trio on Monday at 670 W Wayman St in the Fulton River District, I found that the high-rise looks like it’s close to topping out, and the Jewel-Osco grocery store next door looks like it’s almost ready to open.
At last check, about 80 percent of the 109 units in the two mid-rises had been sold, and about 25 percent of the 100 units in the high-rise were sold.
