What’s this? Vince and Jen have forsaken the Palmolive Building and other downtown high-rises and bought a mansion somewhere in the ‘burbs where Vince grew up? That’s according to a report in a British newspaper, re-published today by an Aussie newspaper – and who are we to doubt their veracity? And Chicagoist is reporting that the $12 million house in question may be the one formerly owned by Mr T., – the one where he attracted controversy by cutting down all the trees. Yo was just about to report that the good folk at 50 E Chestnut told us yesterday that Vinceston, or at least Vince’s mom, was given a presentation about the 34-story Gold Coast high-rise, where every residence is a full-floor penthouse (may sound redundant, but these days the term ‘penthouse’ doesn’t necessarily mean a full-floor home).
We were told that Vince was looking for a very large space where he could house a full editing/mixing studio.
