Evanston is the closest-in of Chicago’s North Shore suburbs and its downtown rivals almost any neighborhood in Chicago as a classically urban environment.
Earlier this morning I met Andy Kiener at Grand Bend at Green Bay, at the edge of downtown, for a walking tour of downtown.
In the first part of our tour, we started with a look at Grand Bend, where Andy’s overseeing sales, and then walked a block and a half to the Farmers Market.
In this segments we pause at the corner of Church St & Maple Ave for a look at the vibrant shopping, dining and nightlife scene that’s developed downtown
