The Waukegan Historical Society is looking for someone to rescue a 93-year-old cottage that was financed by famous philanthropist Julius Rosenwald as part of a summer camp for underprivileged children run by Jane Addams. Basic repairs to save the cottage would cost around $20,000, according to a story in today’s Chicago Tribune, though a full restoration would cost far more.
