West Loop vs South Loop, Part 1, boundaries and pioneers

Two developers strongly identified with their neighborhoods square off in a discussion of the relative merits of their neighborhoods.

David Chase, CEO of the Thrush Companies and developer of 740 Fulton represents the West Loop. Keith Giles, a principal in Kargil Development, which is building X/O Condominiums, represents the South Loop. YoChicago’s Barry Pearce is the moderator.

The first part of this series defines the boundaries of the neighborhoods and focuses on the reasons people buy in an emerging neighborhood.
