CMK Companies‘ 1720 S Michigan may be winning the popularity contest, but we thought its little sister, CMK’s 1620 S Michigan Ave, had a leg up in the beauty pageant. The real deal, however, is falling short of its rendering at this point in the construction process. The rendering shows the right portion of the building set back more dramatically from the left, and it appears to form an angle. On the building itself, the setback, which looked to be the most interesting feature of the design, is barely noticeable.
The development has 249 condos, ranging from studios to three bedrooms, priced from the $280s to the $440s.
