One of the most hotly anticipated new high-rises coming to Streeterville is architect Helmut Jahn‘s 600 North Fairbanks. Check out Murphy/Jahn‘s work at the Illinois Institute of Technology or the Ha-Lo headquarters in Niles and you’ll understand why. Though it’s still a bit too early to tell, the 41-story, curved and slanted glass tower will lean over the building directly to its north (in the rear of the picture). While the main draw may be the “starchitect”, the 227-unit building also has a lap pool, fitness room, media room, landscapred sundeck on the top floor and a green roof. Prices on remaining units range from the $400s to $2.2 million.
