Way, way back in the old days of September 2007, Joe Zekas met up with Yo reader and contributor Eric Rojas at The Perfect Cup at Leland and Damen avenues to talk about new homes and popular businesses in Ravenswood. As I note at the outset of this video, a lot can change in 20 months. We thought it was time to pay another visit to Eric’s stomping grounds to see how the market is holding up, so I met up with him outside the very same cafe yesterday afternoon and spent a couple hours driving and walking its streets.
Eric starts off with a short overview of the neighborhood and some of the places he wants to visit. Then we take a ride down Giddings Street between Leavitt and Damen to look at two examples of new single-family homes.
