I’ve known Michael Kardas, a talented photographer, for nearly twenty years. Last week he stopped by my office to drop a huge surprise on me: he’d acquired a real estate license and affiliated with Sudler Sotheby’s.
How does a gifted, tech-savvy visual artist find his way into real estate? Well, in Michael’s case it started with tending to the needs of Yogi, his 11-year-old dog.
Michael’s going to be showing me around his Logan Square neighborhood next week. We started with lunch at El Cid, 2645 N Kedzie (video), where owner Jose Gonzalez showed us around. My skirt steak burrito was excellent — and huge.
