A new single-family at Old Bridgeport’s RiverBend

Old Bridgeport, the gritty area bounded by the Dan Ryan and Stevenson Expressways, Archer Ave and the Chicago River, boasts a surprising volume of newly-built homes. The area is also home to an unsurprising number of Bridgeport loyalists, some of whom have built $1 million homes in the area.

I visited the area back in April for a look at the Riverside Homes, and also snapped the above pictures of the adjacent RiverBend development.

A new single-family at RiverBend just came on the market, priced at $359,900. The 2,000 square foot 2-story home has 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths.

If you’re looking for a site that keeps you in touch with Chicago’s industrial past, this one is hard to beat.
