NNP Residential is offering some swank new rental digs at la rive gauche of the Chicago River. The company says its new rental building, Left Bank at Kinzie Station, at 300 N Canal St, will offer views of the river and city skyline. The building contains 451 units, ranging from studios to three bedrooms. Features include granite countertops, stainless steel or black appliances, in-home washers and dryers (that’s a nice touch – I doubt there are many public laundries nearby) and cultured marble vanities.
Fancy schmancy amenities include a club room, a resident lounge and billiard room, conference and business facilities, reading room “state-of-the-art fitness center” (“state-of-the-art” just sounds so 80s, doesn’t it?), indoor resistance pool, whirlpool (for out-of-unit hook-ups) and a landscaped outdoor deck with Wi-Fi access.
Rents range from $990 to $3,824 (penthouse) a month. Anyone been down to the Chicago River’s left bank recently (I guess it’s left if you’re facing north)? How’s that neighborhood shaping up?
