The long-discussed Cermak Creative Arts District has taken a small step forward with the selection of architectural firms to perform the first phase of planning for the district, which would be centered on the Cermak Road Historic Bridge District (pdf).
A team led by FitzGerald Associates and Hitchcock Design Group was selected from among 32 teams vying for the work. More details can be found at FitzGerald Associates’ Web site.
