Chicago neighborhoods, simplified

@properties' Chicagoland map

Are 77 community areas and a hundred-something distinct neighborhoods just too much to remember? Don’t worry, @properties has you covered. Never mistake Jefferson Park for Portage Park again — just call them both Andersonville!

OK, so if you drill down into it you get something that resembles an accurate breakdown of neighborhoods, but I still wonder whether @properties isn’t trying to tell us something with this more basic map.
