Construction checkup: Parc Huron

There’s quite a racket coming from the corner of Kingsbury and Erie Streets in River North, as a rotating fleet of cement mixers swarm around the construction site of M&R Development’s new Parc Huron rental high-rise.

ComEd was present at the construction site today as I shot this video. You’ll also see window washers at 645 N Kingsbury St and Chicago Park District’s Erie Park, which borders the Chicago River.

The 21-story, Hartshorne Plunkard-designed tower will have 221 apartments when complete. Lease rates for the one- to three-bedroom units will be from about $1,530 to $3,600 a month.
