Deal of the day: Special pricing for Marquette Village's single-family homes

Rendering of Marquette Village, 7400 S Rockwell St, Chicago

For the next month and a half, RDM Development will lower the prices of its single-family homes at Marquette Village by $10,000 to $40,000.

All of the 139 three-bedroom / 2.5-bath homes near 7400 S Rockwell St in Marquette Park will have brick facades, hardwood floors, bay windows, kitchen islands, granite countertops, 42-inch kitchen cabinets, two-car garages and back yards.

The home styles and prices include:

  • The Prairie Violet, a 1,618 square-foot home, is priced in the $250s, down from the $280s
  • The Aster, a 1,618 square-foot home, is priced in the $250s, down from the $290s
  • The Bluestern, a 2,146 square-foot home, is priced in the $260s, down from the $290s
  • The Ashburn, a 2,202 square-foot home, is priced from the $270s to the $320s, down from the $310s to the $330s
  • The Prairie Clover, a 2,416 square-foot home, is priced in the $290s, down from the $320s
  • The Goldenrod, a 2,416 square-foot home, is priced in the $290s, down from the $320s

The special pricing will be in effect until Sept. 30.

RDM is also giving a $3,000 upgrade credit to any City of Chicago employee who buys a home at Marquette Village. This seems to be a common perk at South Side developments – MGM Construction has a similar incentive package for government workers who buy townhouses or single-family homes at Renaissance at Beverly Ridge in Washington Heights.
