We’ve had our eye on Marquee for a while now, and despite more than one Yo reader commenting that the building seemed to better belong in Florida than Chicago, it’s rising in our very own South Loop. Workers have reached the 21st floor of the 25-story building, located at 1454 S Michigan Ave, and Mark McKinney with developer and architect Sedgwick Properties said deliveries are planned for January ’08. The development is about 87 percent sold, and remaining condos are priced from the $250s to the $490s.
